How to find color code from an image?
Designers often find inspiration in the real world—a sunset, a vintage poster, or a product photo. But extracting that exact shade to use in your CSS or graphic design project can be tricky. Our Image Color Picker solves this by letting you upload any photo and grab the precise color codes instantly.
Supported Color Formats
We automatically convert the picked pixel into the three most common web formats:
- HEX (Hexadecimal): The 6-digit code used in HTML and CSS (e.g. #FF5733).
- RGB (Red, Green, Blue): The screen standard values (0-255).
- HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness): A more human-readable format for tweaking colors.
Why use this tool?
Most Operating Systems have color pickers, but they pick the color "on screen" which can be affected by monitor settings or browser rendering. By loading the image into our canvas engine, we extract the original raw pixel data from the image file itself, ensuring accuracy.
